Many pet stores and services have opened up in Kuwait over the last few years which may make it overwhelming when buying pet supplies, grooming your pet or just finding a place to keep him/her if you go on vacation. So, I have compiled a list of my top 3 stores/ services that I’ve personally used to make the whole process easier. This list is in no particular order and is based on the experience of Royal K9 Kennel Q8.
Petzone
When it comes to pet supplies, no one comes close to Petzone. This store has pet supplies for almost any pet you could think of from goldfish, rabbits, hamsters, dogs, cats and even sugar gliders. All their products are European or American and they have the biggest variety of any pet store in Kuwait. Petzone is also known for its excellent grooming services that are available at all their locations for dogs and cats. They have multiple branches in Kuwait (Salmiya, Al-Rai, Shuwaikh and Mahboula) which makes them a super convenient store.
As Royal K9 Kennel Q8, we have used many of Petzone’s products such as supplements, frontline, dog leashes & collars and dry dog food from Petzone and were always very satisfied with the products we purchase from them. Many of our clients use Petzone personally for pet supplies and all of which would strongly recommend them and rank them as the best pet store in Kuwait.
IVH (International Veterinary Hospital Kuwait)
IVH in our opinion is one of the best vets in Kuwait by far, we say this because of the many spectacular experiences we’ve had with their veterinarians who are some of the best in the business at what they do. Long before we opened this kennel, we had brought our family dogs to this Vet and we were treated with great hospitality in which our dogs were treated amazingly. We strongly recommend Doctor Onam Rodriguez who saved our 8-year-old German Shepherd from heart disease and treated her so gently and nicely. They’re located in Wafra which does make it a very long drive away however we are 100% sure you’ll have a pleasant experience just as we did.
